Liverpool Inter
Inter Milan have assured Cristian Chivu that they will continue their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, despite being reluctant to meet the Reds' โฌ40 million asking price. Chivu considers Jones as his top target for the midfield, with a previous bid of โฌ25 million already turned down by Liverpool. As the Nerazzurri embark on a pre-season tour in Hong Kong and Australia, club directors are focused on negotiating a deal for Jones, who has less than a year left on his contract and is not in Liverpool's long-term plans. With hopes that Liverpool may lower their demands, Inter's management is keen on bringing Jones to San Siro, potentially reuniting him with fellow countryman John Stones. However, to facilitate this transfer, Inter will need to offload some of their current midfielders before making a move for Jones.
